Pillows

I love pretty things! When I was young my Mom was worried that I like things too much-things have won out!

These pillows from   Threadwell in Chestnut Hill are just divine. I have several in different sizes.  Molly (the owner) is fabulous and her taste is impeccable.

Handbags for Everyday

We all love designer bags. However there are many occasions that we want an everyday bag at a good price. MZ Wallace fills that bill. Their totes are amazing and come with a makeup bag too. It's a win win situation.  What's your favorite bag??

Costco Finds

I work next door to Costco. I go through phases when it comes to shopping at Costco. Some months I go once a week and other months not at all.

To make a long story short I have been looking for an eternity band. A friend told me that Costco has amazing jewelry. I was skeptical ar first but the more I read the more convinced I was. I took that plunge last week and bought a beautiful band.

Have you ever purchased jewelry at Costco?

Household Thing

I do love my blue and white things- whether it be old or new pieces-antiques or fun mugs. As sad as I am about the clocks being turned back I do like the warm cozy feeling of winter. It reminds me of hot chocolate and hot toddies at Skidmore and sitting with Mom in front of our fireplace.  Do you like the coziness of winter??

The mug is from Flowerbrook Pottery in Dorset Vermont.

Enjoy the day.

This and That

It’s been a long time since I have updated my blog. This is a selfie from last week. It is a clear reminder that I am now 63.I don’t feel 63. I know that my hair is grey but I see the brown.I am still working and everyone asks me when I am going to retired.

The year has been stressful.  The company that I work for was sold although one of the principals has stayed on.  COVID presented more challenges and loneliness than any one of us could imagine. I never dreamt that I would experience a pandemic.

I am still living in my apartment and loving it. My favorite part is the convenience of not worrying about a house and the responsibilities that come with it.

Until the next post!!
